Students will receive a customized student career kit. Your kit will include all of the basic tools you will need in the classroom and on the clinic floor. Your kit tools are top of the line products which you will take with you once you graduate and start your career. Do you provide housing assistance? The EFA Admissions Leader will assist students in finding housing and roommates. EFA does not own or operate student housing facilities. Once I complete the program, will I get my license? Once you have completed the course requirements for your program, we will submit your completed education hours to the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology. Upon graduation, you must apply for your state license, pay the state license fee, take and pass a practical and written exam with the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology. Will you help me find a job once I get my license? An EFA education prepares you to work anywhere in the world. By the time you graduate, you will have excellent knowledge of the career path of your choice, be equipped with a resume, and know what to expect when you begin your job search. We will help you provide you with career planning, salon networking and placement assistance. While we can’t guarantee you a job, our contacts in the beauty industry can help you find a position that suits your skills and interests. Do you take transfer students? EFA does not recruit students already attending or admitted to another school offering a similar program of study. We will accept transfer students due to relocation or other extenuating circumstances. Get started today!
